RSLVE has partnered with Retrievr to keep used and unwanted apparel out of landfills. Retrievr accepts men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing in any condition. While the ideal path extends the life of unwanted items ‘as-is’ by finding them a new home, this is typically not an option for branded company apparel. When an unwanted item’s lifespan can’t be extended, Retrievr finds value in its component materials. Clothing fabric is either “re-manufactured” into new clothing, or it is shredded into home insulation or stuffing for sofas and seat cushions (commonly referred to as “downcycling”).
